When registering, each student will choose to make: a small, 5-inch dish for $105; a medium, 8-inch dish for $125; a large, 10-inch dish for $145 or an extra-large, 12-inch dish for $165. Designs will be explored in class. Classes will be offered each semester so you can eventually make a set of three nesting dishes. Functional art is a beautiful display of your creativity! T1 6-9p.m. T Main Sept. 30 See Above Fused Glass Open Studio (LLC 6042) If you’ve taken a fused glass class before, you will enjoy this evening of socializing with fellow glass enthusiasts and making a piece of your own design. Each student will start with a clear 8x8 square of glass as their base. Students will be free to decide what to do with that glass. Boxes and bins of glass pieces, frits and stringers will be available for students to use to make their own designs. Glass cutting will be completed by students using various tools. Bring your creativity and willingness to work independently on your own piece, however, many samples will be available for reference. Prior attendance in a fused glass class is required.
