Whether you give a little or a lot, there is a way to make a difference. Annual Scholarship: With a minimum commitment of $500 per year, annual scholarships support students right away. Donors set the criteria and can name the scholarship in honor of a person, family or organization. ExxonMobil Annual Scholarship: This year, ExxonMobil awarded 15 scholarships of $2,000 each to students in technical programs, helping ease financial burdens so they can focus on their studies and prepare for careers in high-demand technical fields. Endowed Scholarship: Endowed scholarships begin with a minimum $30,000 gift, which is invested so it can provide awards every year forever, creating a lasting impact. Polly R. Fisk Yaguchi Scholarship: Polly Yaguchi, a JJC alumna, and her husband, Duke, donated $100,000 to support non-traditional students pursuing education degrees. The scholarship provides over $4,000 annually, helping shape the next generation of educators for years to come. Building to Endowment: Not ready to give $30,000 at once? Start with an annual scholarship and gradually grow it into a permanent endowment. Future Architect Scholarship: Faculty member Maria Rafac created this scholarship to support architecture students paying for their education out-of-pocket.
